BSS front/back slide adjustment?

Is there a user-adjustable (for a semi-handy user -- I'm not a mechanic, but using tools doesn't scare me) way to adjust the front/back alignment of the dinette slide on a 2020 Bay Star Sport? When retracted, the front edge of my dinette slide is very close to the edge of the motorhome sidewall, and the back edge shows a large gap (covered by the rubber seal -- there doesn't seem to be a leak).

If it was just cosmetic I wouldn't care, but it's so close that I'm concerned about it binding when I come in some day.

This thread has slide information, depending on your platform for slide you may have four shoulder guide bolts that need to be checked so slide stays square on its platform.

What do you consider “very close” and “large”? So is this condition a permanent situation? Does it change when you level the mh or is it that way before leveling? I have three slides on my BSS one being a FWS, one is a bedroom slide, and the other a kitchen slide. I’ve never had a gap issue with the bedroom slide, but had them with both the bedroom slide and the FWS usually after leveling where the rear of the mh is raised.

One additional question. Is the gap too close all along the edge or just at the top or bottom?

The gap with change based on how much the mh is raised, twisted to get level. This is why Newmar states to check the gap before extending the slides. You may be better off extending slides BEFORE you level. Many times I’ve leveled first only to find the gap on one or more slides is too close for comfort or even non existent. So I do a retract all and the gap is better and then I extend them. Remember to retract them in the same order!

Gap (or lack thereof) is even and almost non-existent

The condition seems to be pretty permanent, though I've only noticed it the last few trips (I've had the MH only 9 months or so, so I'm still getting used to it -- it may have been there before, may not). It doesn't seem to change much based on level/lack thereof, though I've not been in wildly unlevel spots.

The slide alignment is consistent from top to bottom. I've not taken a measurement of it, but it's close enough that I'm worried that it's going to bind in the front every time I operate the slide, and it feels like it should be measured with a micrometer instead of a ruler. I'd estimate the gap on the trailing side to be approximately 1.99 times the average of the two gaps.

It's definitely something that needs adjusting, and the link above did have a good reference. I'm heading out on a trip this weekend and I expect to have some time to take a look at the actual slide mechanism with this in mind, and then to make the adjustment. I'll give an update once that's done.
