Couple more things off the 'list'
Put the furnace on in the Coach this AM, Worked most of day installing Sirius and CB.
At one point I had more dash dismantled than attached, Everthing is working. Still a little fine tuning with CB and calling Sirius for subscription!!

Rick,
Congrats on getting the dash back together and have everything working in the same day! I have gotten very "gun shy" when opening the dash. Too many time one of the many wires has left it's home and it takes me hours to determine where it went.

I hear Ya Gary It was one of those things that 'had' to be done!!!
I had to refasten the chassis HVAC control on a previous in 'Dash' encounter When it fell off!!!

CB has alittle hum in it when all is quiet and I turn volume up high!! Could be an antennae issue or more than likely power, I did coil the extra Coax So I will get that fixed and see what happens!! Got the Firestyk mounted It arrived yesterday,

Rick

Rick, It looks like a good day to mount that antenna. It's already 36 F. at 6:35, hopefully we'll get near 40 F. today. Tomorrow is back to fridgit digits.

Hey Peter!!! The Antennae is already on, Nice change in Temps, It looks like mid week will be colder but sunny. So your trip west should be a good one.

Rick, I just checked the weather. Looks like I will be leaving late Monday or New Years day. Then I will only have to tend with the cold winter weather about 8 days.

Rick - I'm curious about your Sirius radio installation. We went thru that recently on the 05 DSDP which has a Visteon radio - we had to order a separate receiver for the Sirius signal which is then fed to the original radio. Since installation we've had a problem with intermittent reception of the Sirius channels, we do acknowledge that we have the antenna suction-cup mounted in the windshield and that could be causing problems. Where did you mount your antenna?

Bon Temp I had the same issues with the Visteon, So I got the Sirius car kit with docking station I also bought the FM adapter so I don't have to change stations as we travel
My antennae is up the Drivers side 'A' post. Above all structural components, wood etc and is shooting thru the Fibreglass end cap, I have not been out with this set up BUT sitting in the yard it gets avery strong signal.

Rick, I may be a Johnnie come lately; but, fwiw, we have an in motion satelite and at home subsribe to Direct TV. We take one of the receivers from the house, hook it up in the MHG and use it just like Siius while going down the road. As I am typing this in Queen Creek, AZ Country and Western (Willie's Place) is playing on channel 811. If/when another MH comes into the picture, it too will have in motion satelite. We leave the switch on while travelling and every once in a while you will hear it whirring to seek a bird and when we pull into a campsite we just switch off of music to a TV staion with no alignment necessary, Ken, '04 DSDP....

Hey Ken How are Ya??? Yes that is a great way to make use of 'In Motion' Satellite, Our coach does not have a satellite system, and I was thinking of Data Storm. But never thought I would use the in motion Part. But with the option of Sirius radio, The In motion makes more sense!!!

Thanks Rick
