Buying a 2021 Newmar Ventana 3407

Good morrning. New to IRV2. We are purchasing a 2021 Newmar Ventana 3407 from Campers Inn in Leesburg FL. We are having an inspection completed on Wednesday. This is our first Class A diesel. We are coming from the class C world. Trading in our 2016 Winnebago View 24V. Looking forward to learning from this group. Thank you.

Welcome and congratulations on your new coach.

Going from a gasser to a diesel can have a little learning curve. You'll be moving up to air brakes and air bags.

One of the first things I learned when I moved from a gasser to diesel....... gassers accelerate and diesels gain momentum. The first time I put the pedal to the floor in my diesel pusher, it fell on its face.

No dumb questions, so ask away. A lot of new systems to get acquainted with.

That’s great! The Ventana is a great coach so be sure to post up pics once you take delivery.

Lot of new operating systems to learn but they’re not rocket science. Lot of similarities I would think. Enjoy.

Congratulations, you will really enjoy it. We just purchased a new 2022 Newmar Ventana 3407 from Bish's here in Meridian ID and absolutely love. Ours is all electric, no propane and let me tell you it is outstanding. It drives and handles superbly, it's quiet and pulls really well with pretty good MPG, better than our gas Class A. Just a word of warning, because of the shower size you may find you are taking 20-minute showers.

You made a great choice.

You are going to love your Ventana. We have a 2020 Ventana 3407, all electric. So much nicer to drive than our previous 2016 Newmar Canyon Star gasser. The Comfort Steer, air bag suspension, air brakes, engine brake, and the increased torque of a diesel make all the difference in the world. You're in for a real treat!
