Camp Newmar Closed week of July 14th

We just left Camp Newmar Sunday and there was a note posted on the door of the Parts Department that stated that Parking Lot Maintenance will be done starting Monday July 14 - 18th and the campers should move to Pla-mor Campground.

Maybe they are paving??? Unfortunately I don't think so. I asked Jeanne in the Customer Lounge about the work and she didn't know anything about it.

Gosh, wouldn't it be just a huge deal to have them pave the customer service lot (and on the wish list, add sewer availability to the Delaware Street sites)?

We were at Camp Newmar about a month ago and I mentioned a few times how nice it would be if Newmar paved the customer service lot. Maybe they are looking at this. It would be a great idea for sure.

Alas, no. I was there three days ago, saw the guys working and asked them directly. They said were just adding new gravel fill and leveling and there were no plans to pave the area.

Newmar should pave this lot. It is a real black eye that they don't IMO. They are a much classier operation than this. They should step up and make this upgrade for its customers. The good will that would come of it would far outweigh the limited cost involved. It would make life much better for those of us who spend time there with existing coaches and it would speak very well to others coming for a factory tour who are considering the purchase of a Newmar coach.

That gray stone/dust must be free or someone pays Newmar to take it.

When it's dry, the dust is like talcum powder and when it's wet, it's like library paste.

I couldn't agree more Deek!!,

They're trying to push the "factory delivery" option, yet your new coach is trashed with dust before you leave the factory with it.
