Campground High Def reception

Have a standard 2015 VTDP 4369. I am at a CG with cable TV; both SD and HD. I hooked up as usual (note that I was not given a cable box to hook into). Making certain the Winegard face plate antenna power is off. I then performed a scan on the front smart Sony TV. As I expected, we picked up Cable Chanels the were very grainy and unusable. No digital channels to be found. I then directly connected the CG cable to our TV using a long cable. To my surprise, I found all digital stations. So something is happening inside the coach to drop HD.

Any ideas?

Not long ago I had a poor "park cable" reception problem as you are experiencing. What I found is the cable connection on the "back side" of my park cable receptacle "box" in my power cord bay had loosened. After tightening that connection, the "fuzzy, snowy" poor reception problem was resolved. Suggest you check coax cable connection on the "back side" of your park cable receptacle.

My "park cable" receptor box is somewhat similar to this one except has only one connector --> https://www.rveparts.com/prime-produ...301-rv-camper/

Hope this info is helpful !

I think you'll need to chase down the various connectors and splitters and make sure they're all tight. Often that one in the cord reel bay, goes off into one of the bays to a splitter.
