Can anyone identify this?

I found this in one of the storage bays on my 2016 DS 3736. Does anyone know what it’s for?

(The sunglasses are shown just for size. I know what they’re for. )

Perhaps part of the gizmos needed to secure your slide if the auto retract fails?

the fold away table thing that goes on the passenger seat? Looks a lot like the knee/foot knocker I removed on my 2018 after splitting my toe open. not sure if 2016 had that “feature”.

It looks like it has two joints, that let it rotate and then fold. If so, it's part of the desk mechanism. I never disassembled mine like that, I just took it out all in one piece.

Passenger desk bracket - We were wondering where it was. I guess I’ll have to make a top for it and see how DW likes it or if it goes back into storage

Thanks all!

Agreed it looks like the passenger table with the top removed. Interesting debate just a dozen posts below yours on this item. Don't know how to create a link.

It's missing the bracket that attaches to the bottom of the seat. Along with the wood table that screws to it.
