I got the outside Bose soundbar output the radio but how about the soundbar above televator. Is is direct connected or can it be connected through Bluetooth? If so, what buttons need to be activated on radio and soundbar. Thanks

This simple answer is NO.

The reason is because radios typically use Bluetooth SOLELY as an INPUT, not output.

I have been through this and it gets really complicated. The TV industry stopped including earphone output jacks about fifteen years ago and tried to move everyone to optical output soundbars. If your TV and your soundbar have the connector you need, the cable is cheap; no problem. If you don't have those, it's a problem.

The latest generation of TVs DO have sound jacks (think Ipod/MP3) so you should be able to connect most newer TVs with a simple cable.

In between, you need an optical cable, an optical/audio adapter (check Amazon). You can get a bluetooth transmitter that will connect wirelessly, but it really is complicated.

To answer both your questions.....first, Newmar doesn't run a physical wire to the inside Bose Soundbar, just the outside one, if you selected that option.

The second part ofyour question was answered by Gizmo, it only works one way.

Ok. Whoa whoa. Let’s get back on track here.

Here are the answers to your two questions:

1. How is the INSIDE sound bar connected?

ANSWER: IT IS CONNECTED TO THE INSIDE TV VIA MINI PIN CABLE INTO THE AUX PORT OF THE BAR. OTHER SOURCES (IPHONE) CAN BE FED TO THE BAR VIA BLUETOOTH.

2. Can you select BLUETOOTH as an OUTPUT of your radio (any radio)?

ANSWER: NO YOU CANNOT. RADIOS ALLOW BLUETOOTH ONLY AS AN INPUT.

The factory dash radio in the 2019 has multiple line level outputs. You can buy a Bluetooth transmitter that accepts line level inputs and transmit to the soundbar.

My android head unit allows the radio to transmit via Bluetooth., and I connected it to the bose..quickly discovered the sound is crap compared to direct output and never did it again.
