Can my diamond shield damage be restored?

When washing my KSDP I did something really stupid.

I was washing the front of my coach with the sponge mop and RV cleaner I usually use. I saw some bug stains and proceeded to rub back and forth with the end of the mop to remove them. The mop was soapy and it seemed to do the job. Only when I rinsed off the area, to my horror I realized that I had left rub marks that removed the sheen. (no bugs however) I looks horrible!

If it were paint, I would have the area rubbed out and polished. Is there any salvation for my diamond shield that could restore the shine?

Try 303, and see if that restores the shine

Solved

Called the factory (what a novel idea) and they spoke with someone at Diamond Shield. I was told to polish with Novus #2 and try to rub it out.

Amazingly, I already had some of that from polishing plastic meter faces. After going over the damaged area many times, it took out the marks and brought back the shine. I ordered some more from amazon, and will now try using that stuff on some other damage on the front end and over my step.
