Can’t find DEF reservoir on 2011 Dutch Star

Just bought it and can’t find the location oftheDEF reservoir. Help please

What year did these coaches start using DEF?

Hi DonParke; All the Dutch Star coaches I have looked at have the DEF tank either on the left or right side behind the rear wheels behind a compartment door. It is possible that a 2011might not have DEF depending on when the chassis was manufactured. No sure if yours is on Newmar,s own house built chassis or if it is a Freightliner chassis. I know mostly all diesel heavy duty pickups built starting in 2011 started using DEF, but not sure about motorhomes with diesel engines. Hope you find the tank, if you have one!

The Freightliner sell sheet for 2012 does mention a DEF tank of 10 gallons BUT the 2011 sell sheet does not mention DEF at all.
Maybe the 2011 model was pre-DEF?

2011 motor home probably has a 2010 built engine. No DEF that year

I think you hit the right answer. Particularly if this is a Freightliner chassis. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that FL had an inventory of per-def engines while building chassis in this timeframe.
