Can’t find fuse for engine compartment light-2003 DSDP on Spartan chassis

Can anyone tell me where this elusive fuse is located. All of the basement lights work. Only the rear engine compartment and the front Gen. Compartment lights are not working. Front and back compartment lights were both working until the +12v wire fell off the light in the rear compartment and shorted to the frame, so I know it’s the fuse

I don't think there is a separate fuse for the engine compartment light. Should have one fuse for the all outside compartment lights.

Your fuse panel may be in similar location to my 99 , but I think I only have the one fuse , as Tom , mentioned .

The fuse is in a 12 volt panel beside the 120 volt circuit breaker panel in the bed room , and for some reason , labeled " Wrap Lights ". I shorted a basement light and found the fuse ; I didn't check the engine and under hood light for operation when the fuse was blown.

EDIT : Correction , the front Newmar fuse panel , shows a 7.5 amp fuse labeled engine compartment .Nothing about under hood ( gen set ) light.
NOW , here's the problem I can't tell you where your panel is located , because I know there were changes to the dash board in 2000.
This fuse panel is to the right of the drivers foot in my 99 and behind a black plexi glass panel,

On our coach there is a fuse hanging above the hood opening in the back of the coach. It's marked "Engine Compartment Light".

As I mentioned the Newmar front fuse panel was moved in the years after my coach was built .
Newer coaches have a panel on the top of the dash and still later it was located under the drivers feet ; accessed through an outside compartment door.
