OK--

I have got a '99 Dutch Star, and I have blown the fuse that goes to the TV antenna booster. I don't have power to the switch or to the booster itself, but I ran a test wire to the switch, and it powered up the booster.

I have checked out the fuses as best I can under the dash, and can't find which one goes to the booster.

I even checked the outside fuses over the generator and can't find it. They were mainly chasis fuses.

Any help??

If you have the small inverter the ground fault button may have to be reset. Plus some of the TV cable control boxes have a buttom to press on the box for ANT amp.

Look where the power comes in the coach. I have a black panel against the back wall that has velcro on it. Under the velcro panel is all the extra fuses. dash radio etc.....

007--This is a 12V line that frst goes to a switch, either turning on or off the power booster. The switch doesn't have any 12V going to it. I ran a jumper wire from another source and it powered up the booster.

=================

cinhse---I have checked all of the fuses in the area you are talking about and cannot find one that seems to go to the power booster.

I even went to the trouble to run a continuity check on all of the fuses in case one had a split that wasn't obvious. There has GOT to be a fuse somewhere, I just can't find it.

Is there any way to find out any information from the factory??

Contact number for Newmar, have your coach build number which you may find in kitchen cabinet. The repair center should be able to help you.

Praise GOD!!

I found it!!

Would you believe )Better put this in your notes and underline it) The fuse for the antenna booster, which in my coach is above the front windshield in the cabinet where the DVD/VCR goes, THE FUSE is in the total back of the coach, above the BED!
Who would have thunk it!

Having retired from the stat of Texas, I now believe that they had an EE moonlighting for Newmar.

The logic surpasses me....
