Can’t get power locks to unlock on storage compartments

I have a 2006 Essex with the power locks for the storage compartments. It has the lock/unlock button right inside the entry door next to passenger seat. The compartments are locked and when I push the unlock button, they do not unlock and I hear 2 audible beeps inside the console where the button is mounted. Any ideas? I cant get into any of my compartments including my electrical compartment to plug into shore power.

You may have blown a fuse, but that doesn't account for the beeps. The fuse is most likely located in the front run bay under the driver's window. Mine shows a 20amp fuse for cargo locks, in that bay.

Just something to try.....do you have the keyless entry at the front door....if so, type in your code and instead of pressing (1) as the last number, press (2)

Unfortunately I cant access fuse compartment because its locked. I do have the touchpad but have no idea what the code is. I bought the coach 2 years ago and previous owners said they never used it, so Ive never bothered with it either

If you have the manual for the touch pad, it usually has the code written in it.

If you don't have a key. Find another Newmar owner and the chances the key match is pretty good.

I actually called Newmar this morning and gave them my VIN and they are sending me a set of keys ….thanks for all the tips guys
