Canyon Star 2014 Bedroom Slideout Issue

Looking for help.....

Bedroom Slideout extended with no problems. Tryed to retract this morning and will not move. Sounds like motor is working and have checked fuses and all look good.

What other issues or possible fixes to bring in the slide?

Your advice is appreciated.

Hope this isn’t your case, but I had slide that was out and motor would run with no movement and it ended up being a broken shaft on the slide.

Is the mechanism for this slide located in the under bed storage area? It is on my Bay Star. If so, look it over and see if you can identify any obvious problem. If I remember correctly, the mechanism has a threaded rods with some tightened nuts that may have loosened.

Also, give Newmar a call as they may be able to help you!

Found the Problem - Thanks.

Update on Slide.

Not sure exactly what caused the issue but able to retract after using the slide control button to extend and then again tried retracting. It did take a couple of attempts but the slide did move. Seems to be working correctly.

Thanks for your input.
