Canyon Star ceiling lights
ceiling light not working, how does the cover come off to check bulb? Maybe a dumb question, but don't want to break something on new coach.

They just unscrew.... grab the edges and turn counter clockwise..... the bulbs are real bad about vibrating loose.... always wiggle and reset them before replacing.

If it is the led puck light the whole fixture just pops out and has to be replaced. Easy fix there was a bad batch and Newmar sent me 44 lights at no charge to replace on my 2016 Ventana LE.

How do they pop out? I've remove the lens cover and unscrewed the bulb, which is hard wired to the socket. Are you saying I can just pull the socket out of the ceiling?
Thanks George

Yup. Use a plastic putty knife.
If you still have trouble, LMK. I can post pictures this weekend when in the coach.

Vacay,
Pictures would be appreciated. I have two that are bad. One twists off the cover counterclockwise or do you just pull down on the cover?

The cover is a red herring. We want to leave the cover on the fixture. We want to pull the entire fixture out, which we do by pulling straight down. There are three clips holding it in place , so just need enough downward force to overcome those.

OK, I've attached some photos of taking off the lights. See if this helps.
