Canyon Star Under Fuse Fuse panel

I need to look at the fuses located under the front dash on a 2017 Newmar Canyon Star.

Are there any late model Newmar CS owners who can tell me if the fuse panel is under the plastic cover on the drivers side wall? I thought it may have been just exposed "somewhere" under there.

I have poked my head under the dash and didn't see a panel. I need to get the rig out of storage and open the off door side slide in order to get the driver's seat back and get under the dash - - it's all about room....LOL

Thanks in advance for your help.

I had a ‘15 CS3921. There was a Chassis fuse panel on the wall down in the drivers footwell with a cheap plastic cover. You will need a flashlight or headlamp to see what you are doing while contorted around the seat.

There is also a fuse panel on the firewall in the engine compartment up at the top center. In my case it had a clear plexiglass cover held on with plastic tabs you rotate to release.

Thanks Richard.

I figured it was under the plastic cover - thanks again for confirming.

I need to find the fuse for the 12v plug and USB plugs on the dash, which have stopped working. Newmar did send me the schematics for all the fuse boxes - so this should help.

LOL - I hear ya about contorting under the dash - this is why I need to deploy the slide and turn the drivers seat around and I should be ok.....

Yes, correct location on the fuse panel. I’m laughing too. I’ve replaced that same fuse twice on our ‘17 Canyon Star. Slide deployed, seat back, headlamp on, 60+ year old guy on the floorboard under the dash. I think I remember it being a 20amp fuse in slot #15. I’m sure I’ll get to verify it all again.

Thanks for the slot # & fuse size.......the schematic is somewhat confusing.

Not sure why it blew??

Does not get a lot of use other than my GPS, dash cam, and an iPhone plugged in....maybe too much.

Have a great weekend everyone.....

It's only 4 nuts to remove the drivers seat. Makes under dash access a breeze and only takes a few minutes. My old body doesn't contort as well as it once did. [emoji846]

Do either of you know where the fuse is located for the tow plug at the back of the motohome?

On my ‘15 CS I think I remember there being individual fuses for turn signals vs the brake lights. They were all contained in the fuse box on the driver’s side wall down under the dash.

The cover had a half baked attempt to map the fuses to the functions.
