Going to Newmar for an extended stay, and not bringing my toad, I am asking advice as to convenient car rentals for about a week.

I don't know if you will find a car rental company in Napanee, perhaps someone else knows. You may have to stop and have your spouse or travel mate drive one down from Elkhart, 17 miles away.

If you go across the street to the Chevy dealer, they have a help desk to connect with Enterprise. they will pick you up wherever you say, take you to the office, and fill out the paperwork. You'll kill over an hour doing all this. When you drop off the car, they'll take you back to Nappanee. It's a bit cumbersome, but it works. I did it when my Freightliner caught the belt-shredding bug ftom Bob!

Enterprise is the way to go. I forget the name but, the town is about 20 minutes away. It is not Elkhart and is northeast of Nappanee. They will pick you up at your coach. Make a reservation in advance. In the middle of winter I got the last car they had and had to wait on it.
