After 11 years our 04 Essex front door electric awning will open 6 inches and stops. It acts like it would when it opened all the way with a knock noise at the end of the it's travel except it only opens 6 inches. Contacted Carefree and said to check voltage which is 13 volts. Is there an adjustment or stop which is out of adjustment?

May need to replace motor or check wiring on motor for connection because water gets in the housing for motor, here from QT's # 3 is a thread with links for the problem.
Here is another possibility.
