Cargo bay floor securing the pressure washer

I am close to being done with putting in my deionizer tank and road wave pressure washer into my passenger side front cargo bay.
I would like to bolt down the pressure washer to the cargo bay floor. Before I do that, I want to make sure there are no issues with putting small holes into the floor to fasten it down? I am not sure what's between the floor and the exterior barrier under the coach.

I put mine in the second bay on the door side. Put one screw thru the bottom plate to the floor and 2 EMT clamps tec screwed to the side post.

Thanks

My reason for securing it is to keep it from moving around in transit. Not a necessity but it seems like the right thing to do it doesnít fly into any of the walls or doors. Maybe I am overthinking this. Stuart, thank you for that picture. That helps tremendously.

I would put some eyelets in the floor and use tiedowns to hold the washer down yet have it easily removable.
What about water leaks?
That chipboard doesn't like water much. Expands like a sponge when exposed.

In

We got it in yesterday and didn’t secure the washer frame. When you pull the hose off the reel mounted on top of the washer frame it will tilt the frame so we need to secure it. Going to HD today. As far as leaks, I’d like to think there there wouldn’t be for what I have spent so far but I am trying to find something like a washing machine pan to place under the frame and secure the washer frame to the back with some kind of hardware. Pan needs to be 18 x 20 roughly

I have to say thank you whoever invented plex because it would not be easy with conventional copper pipes. I had someone help do the plumbing work and it turned out great. Pictures forthcoming.

Sheridany, a kitty litter tray or one of those clear plastic totes at Walmart might fit your need of 18 X 20.
