Cargo Bay Lights

We bought a 2019 DS 4369 about a week ago. All of the cargo bay doors have a push switch on them that would indicate they turn on and off when you open and shut the doors. However, when the cargo light switch by the passenger seat is on the lights turn on and stay on and when it's off they turn off and don't come when you open the door. Am I missing something?

Master switch kills all to prevent killing battery with phantom loads?

I had the same issue when ours was new. One or more of your door switches is likely out of adjustment and not closing allowing all lights to stay on whenever the switch by the door was in the on position.

My question is: How does one know if the lights in the cargo bay stay on with all the doors closed?

Feel one of the lamp strips for warmth would be a good start.

Open a bay door and depress the switch......all the bay lights should go out.

Issue with basement lights staying on

Hello, have a 19’ Essex and my basement lights are staying on. I have opened each door and compressed the “switch” and the lights do not go out. I then disconnected each wire one by one (thinking it was the “switch”) and that did not work as well. Any suggestions on what next?
Called Newmar CS and they have been no help as they just said bring it to a service location.
Thanks in advance,
