Carpet Replacement ?

Time to remove original carpet and replace with new - either carpet or laminate flooring. This would be bedroom floor, + Slide out areas in living room and dinette areas. Questions: Does carpet extend under dining seating and entertainment center areas. Do you need to remove cabinets to install new.
In bedroom, does it extend under bed. If going to laminate flooring, what is detail where slide out overlaps main floor areas ( current carpet has a flap to close off joints.

Typically, the carpet is installed before cabinets and dinette. You really can't remove the cabinets. I've done a couple carpet projects and you just cut the carpet out at the front of the cabinet and reinstall up to the cabinet. You could cut it out inside the cabinet, but most leave the old carpet there.
