I have a 2000DSDP. Last year I scrupulously cleaned the entire roof with dawn and soft scrub with bleach. My roof is TPO. I then sealed all seams with 4” Eternabond white tape. And then sealed the sides of the tape with Eternabond caulk in white. I didn’t care fo the caulk that flows out ( Dicor ) as it attracts Dirt and debris and must be redone every year or two. The Eternabond caulk is flexible but does not attract dirt, pretty much permanent.

I was just on the roof, well nearly so, with a tech who pointed out some sealing that needed to be done. I said Dicor, he said something with 311 in the name is better for fiberglass roofs. He said dicor is good, no doubt, but this 311 stuff is made especially to bond to fiberglass. It sure stunk like resin. I'll tell you if it's any good after next summer. There aren't a lot of great choices I believe. Dicor is a safe bet and research might reveal another product or two that works great. It might boil down to what you can get that is reasonably priced that you don't have to mess with every year.

NuFlex 311 is a 100% silicone product. I have always had good luck with Dicor.

This was an informative read:
https://www.smartrving.net/best-rv-roof-sealants/
I don't see where Nuflex is UV stabilized. Might be replacing it in a year.
What is a TPO roof?
EPDO is a form of rubber roof isn't it?
I always wondered why they don't make RV roofs Aluminum, one piece. Seal the pass through holes. Done.

The slightest hail storm would total an aluminum roof. I’d never opt for that personally.

Hmmm, at first read, I thought, oh, you're right. Then I thought, wait, there are many thousands of aircraft with aluminum roofs that sit in hailstorms. Yes, I'm sure there are a few that get dings. I bet once in a blue moon there is hail that dents them bad enough they have to repair them. I bet, however, most dings pop out when the sun comes out.
Then I did some research: https://www.airliners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1395825
I stand corrected. Yup, no aluminum roof on an RV. Moving on now...

TPO is a type of plastic material. Easily repaired and cleans up decently. Sometimes it’s included as a rubber roof but it’s not, but treated the same. It’s sensitive to mineral spirits and “thinners”..You can use these products but do not leave a saturated rag laying on the roof for extended periods of time.
