cb antenna
After our last trip out it was time to winterize and wash and wax. I notice that the rubber part of the cb antenna was gone, just the base and 3 inch shaft was left. Is it a 2 part system or do I have to remove the base on the roof?

Picture would help, but you shouldn't have to remove from roof as replacement of upper part should be available. It was in my case.

It's a two part piece nothing has to be removed from the roof. One Philips screw and that's it

My MADP has two rubber antenna. One up front for the dash radio and one mid coach passenger side for the component stereo. Both are identical. The replacement I found was at O'Reilley Auto Parts and was a screw on 14" long rubber mast only unit with four different screw studs. Use red LockTite on threads to prevent re-occurrence of loss. Details as follows:
Metra Electronics - Antenna Mast
RUBBER MAST W 4 STUDS
Product Details
44-RM1R/AW-RM1R/CF-RM1R/CK-RM1R
REPLACEMENT MAST FOR UNIVERSAL APPLICATIONS FITS MOST GM FORD CHRYSLER AND VEHICLES WITH JAPANESE THREADS
14 INCH BLACK CONDUCTIVE RUBBER MAST ONLY
Good luck!

I would like to build on this plz. I just bought a 2007 Dutch Star 4023 and it has 4 antennas on the roof. 2 over the drivers seat, 1 over the passenger seat and 1 in the rear over the bed room tv area. None of the antennas are there, just the screw type studs. Can anyone tell me what each stud is for and also are all replacement antennas alike or do I need to purchase replacements relative to the use of the specific stud? This forum has been very helpful on where to go for replacements I just need further clarification and direction. Thanks Gene
ps. I am sure one up front is for the AM/FM and another for the CB radio, but which?
