Ceiling Fan

This was posted by bruceisla........ Has anyone put a fan in a new spot where there Was Not a fan Previously? Place one in a Newmar? What needs to be done for supporting Fan Weight? Any Thoughts?

I would like to place this in my Canyon Star Bedroom.

Removed my noisy 12vdc ceiling/paddle fan (2nd bad motor) and replaced with a 3 blade/32" Hampton Bay Moresco 120vac residential fan from Home Depot. Ran the 120vac from the bedroom A/C ... took awhile ...

Fan and light controller is in ceiling near doorway.

It's quiet !! ... and moves more air on low speed than the 12vdc unit.

Yes ... it requires shore power or the genset unless you want to add an inverter feed ... I had no interest.

No ... I don't hit my head ... it does not extend into any area you would normally occupy (unless you stand in the middle of the bed).

If its going to be 110 could draw off the 110 in AC its always there.
If you do not have the AC must be prewired to vent opening behind surround finish.
Need to support to ceiling metal rafter they are 16" on center.
You can drop florescent lights to gain access into ceiling area.
