Exclamation Change in Independence RV overnight policy

While making a service appointment for later in the year, I learned Independence RV has changed its policy and no longer allows overnight stays on the premises. Said it was an insurance/liability issue. Wonder if someone misbehaved? I know while we were there when we bought our Bay Star, one of the other people overnighting for service was parked beside us and put a huge door ding in the rental car we had. Fortunately, I had been unusually convicted to take the rental company's insurance coverage on the vehicle when I rented the car for the trip down (something DH and I NEVER do). Thank you, Lord!

Anyway, be aware of the change if you have been accustomed to overnighting while getting service work done there. Not sure how they are handling those important after-the-sale-get-acquainted stays.

I am sure several have mis-behaved, not necessarly at Independence RV but I've run into that policy in many places.. HOWEVER some of 'em will let you stay in a dirt lot OUTSIDE the gate (or paved) just no hookups or anything (SHoulder of road if wide enough)

I was there last week and noticed they had a sign on the front gate saying they had a guard dog free on the property after hours. Probably had theft/vandalism issues and a guard dog and overnight customers probably won't mix well.
