Changed batteries

Changed my baystar house batteries yesterday. Before I removed the old ones I shut disconnect off.,covered solar panels, shut off inverters, shut off all breakers and sent newmar a note to verify which was the main negative cable off the batteries. Batteries came out without a hitch after marking each cable with tape of course. New batteries installed without even a spark at last negative cable.
Turned everything back on and uncovered solar and everything works on the house side...but I am getting a low voltage signal at levelling jacks and my radio does not work with ignition on....but does when I turn on house batteries at disconnect. I have gone through every fuse panel from engine bay to cord reel bay and cannot find a blown fuse. I canít for the life of me figure this out...why a radio and levelling jack would even be related when changing house batteries...should they not be on chassis?

Were the new batteries fully charged before installing them?

Did you measure their voltage with a voltmeter prior to installation?

The radio and the leveling system are tied to the Chassis battery. I recently had an issue with my chassis battery not holding a charge (bad cell), and if I tried to use the leveling jacks, it would show "Low Voltage". Could your Chassis battery be low? Press and hold the battery boost switch for about 30 seconds and then try the levelers again (keep the Battery Boost switch depressed). also, before you use the battery boost switch, disconnect the coach from Shore Power, and look at the battery voltages in the overhead compartment. What is the chassis battery reading? Also the Battery Disconnect switch, disconnects the house batteries from the system, but does nothing that I know of, with the chassis battery.

I know that's allot of Also's, but it seems like you were more than cautious enough when replacing the batteries. Check your voltages, then plug her in and let everything charge up. It's possible your chassis battery got low, while you did your swap.
