Changes in 2017 models?

Has anyone heard any scuttlebutt about any changes in models or layouts for the 2017 year? It would seem like the '17's should be entering production fairly soon.

The 2017 Demo's for the April 5-7 Dealer meeting in Florida have starting moving. The 2017 info will be available on April 10 per/from Newmar logically after the Dealer meeting. Some models still have 2016 chassis available.

FYI,
John

Without trying to ignite a firestorm...I think there will be a lot of interest on the DSDP line front axle capabilities.

Same thing here Len. The forum takes my mind off the mountain of tax returns on my desk. The idea of a new rig gives me incentive to keep on plugging.

Have a good tax season!

I thought they used MADP steps in the DSDPs. Was that a wrong understanding or do MADPs have step problems?

Not sure what it is called. I think it was the extra lower step that popped out?

In February, I was told by one of the factory reps it was being held in Orlando. Probably a couple 2017 Newmars headed to or already in Orlando.

I spoke with Rick Powell this morning, Rick is the south central region sales executive for Newmar. I asked and he wouldn't tell me anything about what to expect on the 2017's and confirmed that the dealer show is in Orlando next week.

Steinbring is usually first to post photos and details on their website so we should get a look at the new models early next week.

The Newmar dealer meeting starts tomorrow (4/5/16) at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, Florida. Those of you "plugged in" with your favorite dealer should learn what's new for 2017 shortly. Its always fun to see what the innovations and changes are.
