Changing out shower head

Is changing out the showerhead in my coach as simple as just turning the pipe that goes into the wall conuterclockwise and replacing it with another?

Standardized plumbing thread? Use Teflon tape?

Just like in your home. Most shower heads screw onto the pipe stub that comes out of the wall. Standardized thread, use Teflon tape or pipe dope.

Itís probably easier than that. The head itself should be screwed onto the pipe. Unscrew the head and screw on the new one after applying Teflon tape.

Well, it may not be that easy!
I wanted to change the straight shower pipe that came out of the wall and replace with a goose neck to raise the shower head.
Wasnít that easy. Straight pipe easily came out but I was unable to match the thread that
in my case Newmar used.
