Changing out the tv on the televator DS 4018

I have a 2014 DS 4018 with a 46" TV on the televator in front of the ps window and am trying to figure out how to change it out to a smart tv. It looks like a 48" LG oled will fit.I can't quite figure out how it's mounted and how to get it off and replace it.I would have thought it would use the standard vesa mounts but doesn't look like it.
Has anybody changed it out?
Any info would be helpfull.
I have to say that the manuals for this coach are very weak compared to my old monaco that had details on everything.

Remove the screens from the pop out windows and access the mounts through there. You will more then likely have to make a bracket to fit the televator to get the rv positioned correctly. It is slotted some but normally for the tv it came with. You can cut the opening a small amount if needed to fit the new tv. There is a bracket at the top of the tv that is double side taped onto the tv. May or may not need this. Itís going to take some time and choice words but can be accomplished.

I also looked into doing this as I HATE the LG operating system (mine did come with smart TV's), because it looked like a minor nightmare to switch it out I just added a fire stick to the tv, and finally figured out how to power on the tv and sound bar from the fire stick remote. 1 year in and its working fine for us.

If you do get a replacement, some pics of the process would probably be much appreciated on the forum....I know your not alone in wanting to swap out tv's

Thought I should reach out to you about your TV upgrade. I have a 2017 DS and have upgraded to the 48" LG OLED just as you are thinking about. The big difference is I had a 50" Sony in that same rather than a 46". The project does require a few choice words along the way but can be done relatively easily.

As mentioned start by removing the window screens and work from outside. There is a mounting bracket that is specifically made for the Sony I had. After removing that bracket I was able to modify it to fit the new LG. Required drilling a couple new holes to attach to. You will need to position the TV on the modified bracket just right to fill the space just as you want it. There is a way to reset the televator limits for the up down limits.

I'm pretty sure I wrote up a "how to" and posted it here on the forum. Search for my previous post. I will say that 48" LG OLED TV is a fantastic TV best picture possible. Enjoy. Feel free to send me a PM if I can be of help,

on my 2013 DS 4347 removing the top cover of the televator shows bolts that attaches the TV bracket to the televator. Removing theses screws allows the TV with the bracket to come forward and off. The 48" LG is actually not as tall as my 46" Sony so I needed to drill new holes in the bracket higher than the Sony's

Thanks for the help

Thanks all for the help. I look forward to installing a LG 48" OLED.
It's perfect timing as I have the couch removed to install a cabinet with a fireplace.

You will love that TV. I see it has dropped in price several hundred dollars from last year so that's even better.

It ended up pretty simple. I drilled a couple of holes up from the bottom slot and down from the top slot making the slots longer, filed the burrs and the new tv sat on the exact same board the old one was on. I thew a screw into the top board with the springs as it wanted to tip forward over the small bezel and it all worked like a charm. The new 48" LG C1 oled has a fantastic picture.
Thanks for all the input along the way.
