Chassis Battery Solar Panel
Anyone know if there is a small light on the dash that indicates when the chassis battery trickle charger is operating? Can’t seem to locate it.

OK, reference to chassis solar panel fuse says it's in the panel with the solenoids. Where is that on an '18 DSDP?
I probably mis-stated my quesrion...I am unable to find the solar panel indicator light anywhere on the dash. I’ll worry about the fuse later if necessary.

I don't know which Newmar year or model you have, but on my 2008 KSDP 3623 it's under the dashboard air-conditioner controls. There are three equal sized round black things -- about 1" in diameter. The left one is the solar charger light. The next two are the 12v cigarette lighter sockets.
And my solar charger light is NOT on. And I don't know why. 5 watts isn't much, but it's better than nothing. One more thing to look into.

I just found an earlier post regarding the in-line fuse for the solar panel. It's in the battery bay in one of the larger "packets" on top of the batteries.
The poster said he blew a solenoid when he disconnected his batteries. And when he went to replace the solenoid, he found the in-line fuse for the solar panel in the same pocket. And it was blown too.
So maybe that's our problem -- blown in-line fuse for the solar panel. Once replaced, hopefully the solar charge light will go on.

Thanks, Woody. Now we have a location to check. I’m still looking for the indicator light on the dash (or anywhere else) that tells me that the solar panel is charging. On our ‘13 DSDP it was on the dash near the a/c contrils, but I haven’t yet located it on the ‘18. Maybe it’s been deleted.

Here's where it is on our 2008 KSDP. And it even says it's the solar charger indicator light. Ours looks red. But it's never lit, so I can't confirm that.

Got it. Our '13 DSDP had an indicator light there as well, and Michelle verified the existence of a light when we ordered/designed the new coach. Said it was blue these days.
I simply cannot find it!
Any other '18 DSDP owners want to help out? Maybe the light didn’t make it on board!

Have you checked your Smart Phone? With all the new-fangled networked Bluetooth and WiFi electronics on the latest models these days, maybe the indicator light is on you phone now!
I'm joking, but you never know.

I can’t find one on our 2018 New Aire, but I wish I could. If anyone knows of one being present, please share. Thanks!

I don't see one on mine. I will be at NT for a few things this morning and will ask them. I'll report back tonight on the answer.
