Check your water line to fridge

Newmar uses a barbed fitting and a compression type hose clamp on the water line going to the fridge in the slide. It's inside the black flexible track that moves with the slide. It's about 6" in from the 90 deg. elbow, next to the shut off valve. After almost 2 years it blew off and flooded the bays. The hose clamp was 3" away from the barbed fitting. They never slid it up after pushing the barbed fitting in the flexible hose. I added a second hose clamp. Take a look at yours, could save you a lot of work.

Can you please direct me where to look, where is the access to check it, the basement below the refrigerator or from the interior of the coach?

Drivers side (FWS) compartment forward of the Oasis unit. My slide has 2 tracks that move in and out with the slide. The water line is in the rear one.

Tough way to find out about this so thank you for sharing so the rest of us don't have the same problem.

Ted.

Thank you for sharing. I checked mine today in a 4018 Dutch Star. It is about three feet from the 90 above the Oasis heater. Looks like there is a gap but don't know if it would have come apart. I was thinking it may be a good idea to replace the spring clamp with a screw hose clamp. Your connection is certainly in a bad spot.

Does yours have a shut off valve? Mine was just before the 90 entering the track. Doesn't look like yours would have come off. Wouldn't hurt to push it on the rest and add a second clamp.

Yes, here is a picture with the shutoff. I'll try pushing it on the rest tomorrow.
