Or, close off access to the black tank flush completely so that a hose can never be attached. Maybe put a piece of duct tape over the inlet to make it obvious it's not to be connected to. Seriously, I would try not using the black tank flush at all. This would nix that chance of mistakenly hooking up to or forgetting that water was running during a routine flush. You could always go to using it if problems ever developed down the road.

I did the same thing once. Had water from the black tank coming out the air vent in the roof. I bought a black plastic plug from the hardware store and screwed it to the tank flush connection. Now you can’t accidentally hook up fresh water unless you remove the plug.

I dont know about others but I intend to use my black tank flush and would never consider NOT using it now that I have one.
Red paint, caution tag attached, making a blanked off plug, etc to avoid wrong connection fine.

If anyone over filled their fresh water tank would you recommend they dont use it any longer?

Know your equipment and pay attention to what you are doing.
If others are 'helping' make sure they understand what it is they are going to do

If you make it 'idiot' proof...no one would be able to use it!!!
