Class T - Shortage of main battery fuses

For many you will find on your main battery lead a class T fuse holder that has a class T quick blow fuse. In my case 250A.

By aware these have become gold dust. Trying to find a spare has been a struggle, whether its 250A or even 400A (if you have upgraded your system).

Blue Sea who make many components are out and could be out until 2023, Tried many places including marine stores, most online stores, but no, very thin on the ground and will likely be for some time. Tried many different makes, all out of stock. No luck with little fuse, either.

So a word of caution, if you just happen to burn out your main battery fuse, you could be in for a challenge for some time.

There also is a size difference. Newmar seems to fit IPS made fuse holders for class T fuses and the lug hole spacing is different compared to a fuse holder for Blue Sea or say BEP. This is just for a spare and I have not tried Newmar spare parts.
