Cleaning Diamond shield

When waxing coach is it ok to use same products on the front Diamond Shield as I do on the rest of the coach or is there a special product for the Diamond Shield?

Thanks

Doug

The wax you are using on the paint won't hurt the diamond shield but this is what the manufacturer recommends. I use this product with good results.

I have used Turtle Wax car wash and Rejex for many years. Makes the surface slippery to touch, bugs wash right off.

I've used the 303 but it leaves a streaky finish for a while. It does go away after a while though.

The short answer is yes you can. The key is to keep the DS clean and wax it with a product that provides UV protection. Too many cases where the DS starts looking like cr*p due to weathering and neglect.

I saw a video on YouTube posted by David Bott...of "Outside Our Bubble"...

He highlighted the BugsN'All product...which I promptly ordered.

Living in S. Florida...we have a real problem with Love Bugs. I was amazed that I could spray some of this stuff on...and use a soft bug scrubber pad and wipe them right off. I rinse the residue off...then complete the job with a coating of 303 Aerospace Protectant. The BugsN'All product label says non toxic, biodegradable...so I'm doubly pleased!!!

303 is a protectant. ..actually called 303 Aerospace Protectant
blocks UV and aids in EZ removal of bugs...dirt...etc.

It is not really a cleaner.
Clean first...spray on sparingly and spread / wipe w a clean cloth.
If it looks streaky try using less and spreading more.

They also market 303 Fabric Guard a water repellant treatment for cloth...not the same thing...actually very different and not interchangable...fabric guard will actually damage plastics and protectant will remove the water repellency if used on fabrics.
