Cleaning Dutch Star roof corner drains
I've been flushing out the debris from the roof corner drains on my 2015 DS with the 1/2" plastic hose connected to the garden hose. Three of them flushed out very good but the driver's corner barely dribbled down the bottom, even with the garden hose pouring in water that kept backing out.
Does anyone have any suggestions, or actual experience, with any item than can be used to run down the drain tube to force out whatever is lodged there keeping water from freely running out but still not damage the drain tube?

Can you put the hose on the bottom of the bladder and push up?

I run a nylon fish tape up from the bottom thru to the top.

I have used an air hose from the bottom to loosen any debris.

I have used a single 14/2 cooper wire and VERY CAREFULLY pushed it in from the top of the RV with the hose spraying water into it. There must be a elbow at the top were it gets clogged. I have never had to push that wire in more than 2-4 inches. This has worked for me.

Tried that with no results. Just more water coming back at me, nothing coming out the top.

I know about fish lines, fish lures, fishing poles, but don't think I know what a fish tape looks like.

It's an electrical tool used to pull wire through conduit. You can pick up a reel at Home Depot. Comes in various lengths.

You might try removing the strainer, it's just held in with sealant, and push tubing down from the top.
About 1/2 of one of my strainers was blocked with too much sealant.

Look in electrical dept at Lowe's, use it to pull wires thru conduit.

Do a search on irv2 under Newmar. I made a contraption to flush out mine.

I have always had to remove those strainers in order to get my 1/2" plastic hose that's connected to my garden hose into the top end of the drain line to get a good flush. Except now the driver's end doesn't seem to be flushing out like the other 3.

I've been using a system just like that for some time. Had posted how I did it when several other posters had made one also. For some reason it's not working on the driver's end. Must be something really solid in there.

I asked customer service about this because the water from the air conditioners was running over the edge and getting us wet as we went out the door. They told me there are no drains. Just adjust the leveling jacks so the water runs backwards.
I know, I had the same reaction...
