Close to Purchasing a 2017 Dutch Star 4369
We bought a 'leftover' 2015 Tiffin Phaeton 40AH a little over a year ago and have been full-timing since, learning along the way.
We love the flat floors in the Dutch Star, layout, open feeling, dual recliners, comfort steer, tag axle, extra features, and step up in quality. I wish we had just started out with one! But we learned about what we like in this past year. The particular one we are looking at has the Spartan chassis.
We are about 95% there in signing the dotted line. Now trying to rationalize our decision!

The DutchStar is a great coach and the floorplans are excellent
It may be too late to begin a factory order for a 2017 at this point. The 2018s will likely begin production in July for delivery Aug/Sep.
You will not be able to find out any information about the 2018 models until after the annual Newmar dealer meeting, but that is coming up soon.

We purchased a 2017 Dutch Star 4369 with the two recliners last October and are completed satisfied. It was also difficult to make the decision to upgrade because our 2013 Monaco was supposed to be our last coach. Thrilled we made the move, you will, too.

Newmar Dutch Star 4369 on a Spartan chassis with disc brakes on all 3 axles has to be one of the best.

We've had two DSDP's, a 2000 and 2002 and wish we had stuck with Newmar products. Not that the Country Coach isn't a good rig, but it is so much different than the Newmars that there is a steep learning curve.
My late wife loved the 2015 4372 floor plan that we looked at less than 1 hour after putting a deposit on the Magna.

Based on the thread I'm attaching.. I'm guessing you'll be very happy you went with a 2017 vs a 2018..
Good Luck !!

We are very happy about all disc brakes. That is a biggie. On the counter side, isn't it getting close for a major refresh? Looks like the exterior was last changed 4 or 5 years ago? Regardless, we are happy! The Spartan chassis sold us. The dealer, Midway, is making sure the recall(s) are taken care of before we take delivery. Getting excited!

This is a refreshed model
Having recently purchased a 2017 4369 and owning a 06 MADP before for 10 years, I can tell you there are many things that have been upgraded and changed, mostly in and under the coach. Sure the exterior works and looks great, they have added chrome options, front grill, single windshield, the roof lines now hide the ACs, no ladder, frameless windows, awnings, etc... Sure there is always something down the road that will be improved but this is an amazing coach, very well designed and built. You'll be happy with it.

After all this....! We put down a deposit, drove to Michigan, went to the dealer to take delivery, and during the walk though, discovered the Dutch Star that was perfect didn't have heated floors! I accept 100% responsibility for being so ignorant about the option list. I assumed "All Electric" included heated floors. Sigh. So we passed on the unit. I can't express how bummed we were!
But we have heated floors now in our Phaeton and it's too great of a luxury to give up. It's something we notice and use on a daily basis.
Now we are looking at ordering a 2018. Midway RV has been great and provided a very strong quote to order what we want.

Too bad it didn't have the floors, but they are a "must have", we own a 2017 DS4018 and absolutely love it, you wont be disappointed when order new coach. Be sure to look at some threads of add-ons if you are ordering from the factory, ie extra 12v outlets in dash, lights when you open pantry door, pick your leather if you are not happy with stock colors etc some many options and colors to choose, good luck
