Cindy,
If the engine block heater is working the block should feel warm too the touch. Just plugging the cord in probably isn't enough. In my 2000 DS there is a switch in the overhead cabinet above the passenger seat. Newmar had a habit of putting that switch in many different locations depending on the coach. That just happens to be where they put mine. The switch is mounted in the ceiling of that cabinet. It must also be turned on.
When storing always turn the inverter section of the inverter/charger off, but leave the charger section on. Also you have to leave the store switch on in order for the charger to keep the batteries charged.

TONYMAC, I have not done anything inside the coach to turn on the block heater, so it is probably not working. It is so cold outside I am not willing to go out to check. I am going to try to get her warm once the temp is above -25 F

Thank you for your help!

You should have a battery boost switch that momentarily connects the house to chassis batteries for starting power

My BlockHeater outlet has no inside control, except for the circuit breaker. Do they normally have such? And, by the way, YIKES!!!, minus 25!!! I’d have Acme Van Lines on the phone!!! I’m way to wimpy for that!
