Comfort Control Center 2 thermostat DEAD

CCC2 won't turn on. Reset the breakers in the panel. Pulled the connector out of the back and reinserted. Still dead. Any ideas?

Thanks

Comfort Control Center 2 thermostat DEAD

Try this link, problem sounds similiar to mine. The zone that is not showing any longer is where this is located. Make sure to read the entire thread and you will see what I just finished doing to fix it.

Thanks Ken.
Read both threads. Not sure where to start as my thermostat does not come on. Nothing but a blank screen.

We haven't needed the AC for the last few days so they were turned off. I went to turn on the AC today and when I touched the screen, nothing happened. I proceeded to cycle all of the circuit breakers in the coach with no success.

Its been raining so going up on the roof isn't going to happen.

Hopefully a call to Newmar in the am will give me a place to start.

John

The thermostat switch is on? Did you check the 12v fuse panel fuse. Pull fuse to reset in holder.

Going through the exact same problem. No power (communication) to thermostat. Checked all the fuses & all good. Disconnected thermostat from the wall and plugged directly into AC #1 (the front AC). No communication to #1, but 2 & 3 worked. Checked all the connectors & all are good. Have came to the same conclusion as Ken that the control board also called relay board is bad & I'll replace it next.

I did that and the thermostat reset and is functioning. Turned front and rear to heat pump and they are working.

I'll need to watch to see if it happens again and what would cause the thermostat to turn off.

Thanks again 007.

After running the HP's for 20 minutes, they shut off and the thermostat went dead. I pulled the 7.5 amp fuse and reinserted and that reset the thermostat. I turned everything off and the thermostat is still "on".

I'll make some call, but I'm thinking a control board is going bad. ???

Bingo

Well, we got the relay board. Originally, I thought the board was bad in #1 AC as #2 & #3 were communicating and working, but #1 was dead. However, the relay board was bad in #3 AC unit. Once removed you could see the corrosion on the female communication terminal. Replaced the board, hooked up thermostat to the wall, and did a reset. All 3 units working now. Thought I'd pass it along to all.
