Comfort Drive

I am assuming with CD you will not feel the front end pull left or right out of alignment like a car? I plan on having the front alignment checked every year anyway but was wondering.

In case you missed it here is a thread that covered the CD steering pretty well with comments by the man who developed it.
Here is a video with Matt Millers wife driving their Newmar

Hi wracinti,
If the misalignment is small, you are correct. You will not feel the pull of the out of alignment front end.

The alignment people I talked to about this subject indicated that very few people complained about pull with alignment issues. What they did notice was that a lot of road behind them was visible in one side mirror and virtually none was visible in the other mirror. In other words, the coach was dogtracking down the road. Since the CD does not affect steering system position, the situation in the mirrors will not be different.

Surprisingly, a tire with low air pressure generally does not cause pull either. I hesitate to use the word always even though 5 out of the 5 vehicles tested did not pull even with extremely low pressure.
