Comfortaire bed

I have a dual mattress/dual control Comfortaire RV 750 king size bed installed in my 2009 Dutch Star. Both mattresses deflate the moment I lose 110VAC, but they hold air without leaking as long as the pump is powered by 110 volts.

I called Comfortaire support. They do not carry any pump parts. However they will be more than happy to sell me a brand new pump for $359, which is their "discounted" price.

I can't believe there isn't some sort of check valve in the pump that keeps the mattresses from deflating when the pump loses power. So, I am looking for repair ideas without having to buy a new $359 air pump.
