Conduit size for specials
When ordering a conduit between locations, what size does Newmar install?
I ordered several conduit to the roof, but realized the size is not specified or documented.

Need more info. What kind of conduit are you talking about?

They ran a 3/4” liquid tite when we requested a conduit from wet bay to mid bath.

Thanks...that's what I was hoping for.

Size of conduit is dictated by number of and size of conductors....

This is one run denied on floor plan 4551. I was able to get a run to roof from half bath, but not to basement.

In this instance, this is a factory special for empty conduit for future runs. Size wasn't specified so that's the reason for the question. Once I open the roof I will be able to confirm, but I wanted to plan the cables and do a test pull outside first.

Seeing how many cables you need to bundle and run, might want to consider removing lights / vents and run the cables outside of the conduit under the fiberglass insulation. Yes, it's a PITA to do, but should be doable with perseverance.
A push stick with a 1 1/4"" 45 degree stiff end on it to rise over the approx. 1" high roof spars should work. Push under the insulation tip down, and when you hit the spars (every 16") then rotate the stick to get over the spar and push 1" forward and rotate 180 to get tip down (so you stay under the insulation).
Note that the spars have uprights across the width of the RV ceiling. You want to stay inbetween those so they don't block the way of your push stick end.
Note that since most push stick extensions are threaded together, you would always rotate clockwise so the stick doesn't unscrew stranding the parts mid ceiling that will then rattle forever as you drive down the road
You can use speaker holes / vents to access the push stick and coax the stick forward and decrease the number of push stick extensions you need. So thread hole to hole which is not necessarily a perfectly straight line.
Push a pull string forward taped just behind the tip and once full length, connect your wire bundle and pull it through the path (with another pull string attached for future pulls)

I was denied and told they only run them horizontal because of the slides. I emailed the engineering dept. and said it was a easy run in an area with no slides 6' long straight up and down and they approved it. I had 2 runs.

I agree--there was no reason they could not run it....I should have pressed the issue.

Yesterday I ran the 8 cables thru the conduit. This was 6 LSR200, 1 LSR100, and 1 Cat6. I had to remove the ends, and it was still a very tight pull due to the 3/4in flex conduit bit being run all the way into the cab, but rather ending at a terrible angle in the ceiling.
The job is done, and the pain of the experience will soon be forgotten. I would order the conduit next time. It was a lot easier than running without.
Newmar puts in a lot of insulation and it is foil backed. This is a big improvement over what I had in my previous Dutch stars.
