Connecting Pepwave to 12 volt fuse panel

Installing a Pepwave Max Transit CAT 18 in 2019 Newmar Ventana. Iím installing the Pepwave in the cabinet which has the 12 volt fuse block and the AC breaker box. There are a couple of slots in the 12 volt panel that are vacant. There are also a few that are labeled for optional items that are not being used. How or which open slots should I use and where do I connect the ground wire? Thanks for any help

I put mine in the same place. I just used any open slot and the ground, I tapped into the big bunch of ground wires that that come together on one post in the cabinet.

sramer sums it up well. I would add to make sure you are on the fused side of the power.
You will love the Pepwave

In my cabinet there was already a self-resetting 12v breaker at the bottom of the line-up for the Wifi Ranger....you may have the same.

Gary-

If you want to be able to use the Pepwave when underway, you'll want to use a 12V feed that is not ignition-switched. I did, and I did. In fact, the 12V I used on my coach didn't go through the house battery disconnect solenoid activated by the switch at the door. The only way to shut it off was to use the rotary switch at the house battery bank or pull the fuse to that circuit.

Your coach is different than mine was, so only the first sentence above applies for you!

Thanks to everyone for the replies, Heading out to the barn to get ready to do the install. Kind of nervous about drilling the hole in the roof, but it has to be done. I looked up through a hole where a bundle of wires entered the cabinet for the fuse panel with a scope and it appeared OK to drill where I was planning. So, hope all goes well. Thanks again

I've used that panel for a couple of items, my ATT Mobley (internet) and black tank electric drain valve.
