We are considering trading up to a new 2009 Ventana 3936. Do any owners have any advice or recommendations regarding the pros and cons of this particular coach?

I have the Ventana 3942. I've had a few issues with it, but they were with parts that everyone uses (Norcold circuit board thought the door was always open).

Overall I'm pretty happy. If it's a floorplan that works for you and you get a price you like, I'd say go for it!

Well, we bought a new 2009 Ventana 3936 today after comparing it closely with a Damon Essence. Loved the Essence and the way it drove with lots of power, but it came down to quality control issues and the Newmar won out.

Congrats! Enjoy your new Ventana. I'll be picking mine up after getting the recall on the Atwood Levelegs done.

Mine had 2 Newmar recalls since I bought it. The Levelegs and a heat shield for the exhaust.

Spartan sent me a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) for the turn signals. They didn't flash in a steady pattern. I took it in and they replaced a module. Check to see if your turn signals flash in a steady pattern. Also check with Newmar for any recalls.
