Control radio volume from co-pilot seat

I have a 2023 New Aire on Spartan chassis. There is an auxiliary screen at the co-pilot seat to control navigation, radio, etc., but I haven’t found a way to control the radio volume. The main volume control is too far to reach from that chair. Am I missing something? Has someone come up with a mod?

I don't have that as I don't listen to what she wants.....

Just kidding. If no one has a solution and that's an Xite unit, I would call River Park, before calling Newmar. River Park provides the radio. Who knows, maybe there is a software upgrade that would allow volume on that secondary screen.

I have control of the radio volume, the co-pilot seat keeps saying "turn it down". If the co-pilot seat had control of the volume, I'd never hear anything. I think it was designed correctly.

Same for me!

She gets in my truck after I've been driving by myself, and her shriek is louder than the radio.

I also have the Xite radio with remote screen which doesn't control the radio volume, but it does have a hand held remote that will. Maybe the remote is a River Park accessory?

Can you access your head unit menu from the remote?
If so, you should find submenus that might allow you to switch control. Or, maybe from the head unit there is the option to select where volume control is allowed.
Just a guess.

Here's what the remote looks like:

I can't see any number anywhere on it to do any on-line search. Probably best to call Riverpark.

Take care,
Stu

I have the aux passenger control head and it does not have a volume (dumb) I did the same thing and bought the hand held remote from Xite.

Short answer is co-pilot screen has no connection to the radio, best as we know. We have looked. It would be handy for changing the XM Radio station instead of getting nagged.
