Converter question 2000 DSDP
I have a 2000 Dutch Star Diesel Pusher and it has (2) Iota DLS-45 converters.
My question is do these coaches come with 2 converters.
I have just upgraded my house batteries to (4) 6Volt AGM's and plan on upgrading the converter or converters to smart chargers using the IQ4 plug-in.
That is when I discover the coach has 2 conveters.

Yep, the 2000 coaches came with 2 converters. It is interesting that the brochures for these coaches do not state that. The brochures state the converter rating.

Gary, since I'm not near my coach, I'm sure you know the answer. I am assuming the 2005 KSDP did not have the smart chargers on the iota charger. Is that correct?

Do you mean inverter? Or Converter?

You are correct. One must purchase the attachment that plugs into the RJ11 port on the converter.

Checked my charger yesterday and found a DLS-55, it does have the RJ11 port, so ordered the Iq4 Smart Charge dongle. Hope to see better life from my batteries, at least adding less water.
