Converting trestle table to sliding table.

Hello all,

Has anyone converted their trestle style dining table to the newer sliding style dining table that mounts under/to the buffet? I have seen pics of newer rigs with this option and would love to do this to our DSDP. This would have the ability to slide in for travel and extend for dining.

If you can cut and hinge the table top and attach to wall with extension so you would not lose the space on table top it could possibly look some thing like this.



The same that is made by Newmar has a deeper cabinet combination with top for the space under the counter.
There are cabinet makers for the furniture your interested in or order the option from Newmar.
