I have a trip coming up to Nappanee and am looking to have a custom storage ottoman built for my DSDP. I have heard that there are some shops or individuals in Nappanee that will custom build furniture that matches your coach's interior (ie., cabinet color, fabrics, etc.). I have found one - Focal Wood Products - but am looking for suggestions from others who may have had some experience. I'd like to contact one of these shops and place an order so I can pick it up while I'm at the factory.

So, any suggestions?

We were looking for an end table, managed to find one the right size and color already made at Brad and Hall.

I have heard nothing but good about Focal. We had some work done at Precision and they sent the wood work out to another local person, they never said who. Actual wood work was was good but communications between Precision and them got screwed up resulting doors being made wrong and had to do over.

We've been extremely pleased with Focal Wood --- Over the years he's built us a couple tables, trim, magazine racks, and window sills. Carlyle is a craftsman and reasonably priced. You won't go wrong with him. You want it, he can build it.

Thanks all for the confirmation on Focal Wood Products. I'll give Carlyle a call and assuming he builds the storage ottoman, will post pictures when complete.

We have an appointment with Focal in April to have our dining booth and j-couch removed and replaced with new dining table and chairs and desk. All of the reports I've received about Focal are positive. I was also told, but can not confirm, that many of the other renovation places in the area get their furniture from Focal.

I am sorry to say but I would not recommend Focal; we had a coffee table made to match our wood finish in our MH. The finish was not good and the fit of the folding leafs did not fit very well; also used two brass screws in the small blocks as adjustments to level the folding leafs. Cost $240.00.
