Cypress

I am looking at a new Cypress (2009) I really like it, the one thing I do not like is that is does not have the full steel ball bearing drawer glides that most 5ers have in its class...has this been a problem with anybody? I know the other two 5ers I have had it has been a problem, they seem to always break. I never over load the drawers. I would think that because everything that is included on the Cypress, they would at least bring this up to a standard at this point....the Montana, Cardinal, Seville, Cedar Creek, Big Horn, etc...all have that as standard.

This, see signature, is our second Cypress and we have lived in both 5/6 months of the year, never had any problems with the drawers or any thing else. Prior to the Cypresses we had a Newmar American Star that also was a great fiver.

Ball bearing drawer glides are nice but only necessary for drawers that are overloaded with weight. You can upgrade drawers and DIY with a visit to Lowes or Home Depot for the glides. Drawer Slides - Undermount, Side, Bottom, & Center Mount Drawer Slides come in different weights and lengths. I would not worry about it until a drawer become a problem.

Welcome krazed5er to Newmar forum and irv2.
Never had a problem with and draws on 3 Newmars and I do overload them.
The CYPRESS has many happy users who would give you what problems they have if there were some.
Good luck in your quest hope you join us in Newmar family.
