Dash A/C Controls fallen into dash

Has anyone encountered their Dash A/C controls coming lose and how did you repair them? I have taken the drawer assembly out below to gain access. Newmar in it's infinite wisdom used hot melt glue to attach a washer to the back of the dash and it has come loose. It was designed to fail on bumpy roads.

I'm in a 2014 Mountain Aire

You could attach the same, or a new washer to the dash back with epoxy or some other stronger glue than hot melt glue.

Mine did the same thing. If you look under the the steering wheel area you can see the back of the a/c control panel, it has a small galvanized wing on both sides. I bought a small round headed bolt that matched the screws Newmar uses on the dash. I then drilled a small hole thru the dash panel and thru the galvanized wing that is attached to the a/c control panel, inserted the small bolt ,paninted it black with a sharpie and you would never know it was repaired. It won't fall off again. I can't believe Newmar even attaches the panel as they did, I would expect everyone to fall off at some time or another.

I have issues that I have to make a trip to Newmar. Crack in shower pan being the biggy. Right now I am in Canada on the Newmar Maritime Caravan. The roads have been a little rough. The dash a/c controls didn't survive the trip, the fridge seems to have shifted causing the wood strip above to dislocate. My step motor died days before starting the trip & the door will not stay open so you can use the screen door for air flow. At least my old 2004 Dutch Star with it's Posilock door worked as it should.
