Dash Air Supply Lines

Purchased KountryStar 3912 new in 2006, the dash air has been a problem since first year. Looses freon. Have rebuilt compressor twice and recently replaced compressor and dryer. Worked for 400 miles and then started blowing hot air. Any one know how the supply lines are run from back to front? Are they rubber? Spartan says it's a Newmar problem. Have tried to contact Newmar with no success. Is there a known weak point? Can you access lines without ripping out weather seal under chassis?

The A/C refrigerant lines on my Safari are rubber.
They run from back to front inside the street side C channel frame rail and would be a nightmare to remove and replace....to gain access to them the water and both waste tanks, (among other things), would have to be dropped and/or removed.
