Dash Banner Issue

We have a 17 DSDP on a Freightliner. I finally had the dealer do the headlight recall, now I have noticed that intermediary, the banner turns white and then back to black while driving. In the past, once the parking brake is released, it would turn from white to black. The banner I am referencing is the information center that shows the mileage and other information. I know the simple answer, return it to the dealer, but we are on the road. Looking to my fellow experts to see if anyone has experienced the same issue.

Not saying this is the fix....but if you have the LBCU (light bar control unit) that FL uses and there is a knob to the right to select different functions....try this:
Hold the knob to the right until the display changes to a Maintenance menu. Under 'settings' there should be a 'factory setting' yes or no. Try setting to yes.
Maybe that's what you are looking for? And not sure you year chassis has the same I am speaking of. Good luck.
